A Viera born and raised in the Golmore Jungle along with many other of his kind, Arus (born as Gandrei), grew to dislike the norm. To his dismay or perhaps advantage his time would come.A troupe of Dalmascan merchants found themselves lost within the fabled jungle and Arus helped them safely traverse it. His tribe found out and promptly banished him for breaking their code, but he wouldn't remain alone forever. The troupe returned the hospitality and picked him up, taught him their ways, tricks of the trade, and remained in their ranks for times to come.Now with powerful knowledge on how both sides of the markets work, he uses this as an advantage to continue growing.

Arus in a nutshell is very prideful and ambitious of himself and his craft, which generally tends to entice danger or warrant trouble. Luckily for him his ego has provided many opportunities that wouldn't normally present themselves to the public eye, and has since made a name for himself and his skills within Thanalan's upper echelon. Despite this, he's generally cool, calm, and collected and doesn't let those inner flames melt his head too often.While cunning and what most would consider down right foolish, he's well aware that his views can and will be costly, but his heart burns far too bright for him to back down.WARNING: Do NOT let his smile deceive you.

Merchant of all - Arus will sell anything he can get his hands on for both his own gain and a possible business relationship. The more gil in his pockets, the happier he gets. That being said he could possibly have something your character seeks- or knows a way to obtain it. As of recent he's been into poisons and their cures, but nothing is out of his reach.Politics - As notoriously known as he is in Ul'dah he tends to use the ties he's acquired to aid himself and his endeavors. Arus bounces (read: slithers) between the graces of different Syndicate members with hopes that his antics don't catch them off guard.**Relic Connoisseur ** -- Be it in his personal home or on the market through some associates, he simply cannot stay way from the power that certain relics claim. He knows how troublesome they can be, but what better reason to seek them out? In his many travels he’ll often come across talk of rare items locked away in a dungeon or being sold which never fails to catch his interest. Their mystical powers are always an interest to him. Typically he restores them to their former glory or pawns them to the next fool.A professional -- From bribery, collection of goods he considers his own, distribution of dangerous poisons and tinctures with intent to corrupt, violent tendencies, and information gathering. Yakuza families, Clans, Companies, and those desperate have done business with or against the name. Arus doesn't exactly hide this fact, either.
Perhaps your character has been affected by his heinous activities or has been goaded by his wanted posters?In search of -- Despite the status he has and wealth accumulated, Arus doesn't quite have any static desires now which is something he wishes to fix. He helps the common street rats and anyone that comes into his path as best he can, but afterwards he's left with boredom and longing for something more. Really this is just to say that he can fall into many ideas and situations! He's open to growth and discovering new things no matter the danger; constantly after the next big excitement.
